At the start of each month and in conjunction with the new moon, I always sit in a deep healing meditation that gives me the opportunity to send reiki to my loved ones, as well as to everyone that is a client on my mailing list.

I’ve been doing this for a while now and it has recently occurred to me to share some of the healing messages that I receive with you as well.

Sometimes I go through each chakra with several reiki symbols, at other times through the different layers of the aura, or sometimes I’m guided to chant or to perform a specific energy healing technique.

SACRED INTENTION:

“This August Reiki Healing and Energy Balance is for anyone from my tribe who feels aligned with the messages, sacred symbols and frequency of this healing. I ask that it be delivered and received via the highest possible vibration, assimilation and integration process. I call upon the healing transmission that is aligned in the perfect way at the perfect time and in accordance with their highest soul alignment. I ask that this healing amplifies feelings of stability, flow, courage, love, expression, insight, connection and ease. And so it is.”

We start our August month on a dark moon and in Sydney, we will welcome a new moon during the sunrise on Wednesday 3 August, in the fixed sign of Leo symbolised by the lion.

This is where the Universe extends an invitation for us to embrace the idea that we too can have the heart of a lion and embody characteristics that include being brave yet equally sensitive and lovingly assertive.

Lions can take pride in their work and in their loved ones, and one of the greatest lessons they can teach us here, is to love ourselves unconditionally, not just in relation to our accomplishments.

This has been a huge obstacle that many of us have had to learn to overcome, especially if we hail from a family whose love for us was conditional and based on our external achievements, instead of our capacity to love, heal and forgive

August is the 8th month of the year, and the number 8 is my favorite number for so many reasons, but primarily because it is symbolised by 2 circles, one on top of the other. It suggests that as above, so below.

And if you were to continually trace the number 8 really quickly without stopping to take a break, you’d be illustrating what most of us do when we are disconnected from our heart. You’d be showing how we tend to chase our tail.

In kundalini yoga, the number 8 represents the air element so if we can consciously link to our breath, we give our energy centres (aka chakras or soul codes) the opportunity to embrace a massive healing vortex

Our breath doesn’t just transport vitamins, minerals and nutrients to our vital organs, it also helps us to reprogram our cellular memory so that we can change our thoughts and update our emotions to a higher frequency.

The idea is to implement these updates in a way that comes from our heart – not from our mind, or a sense of obligation, or even a feeling of I-should-do-this.

The Lion’s Gate is an auspicious time to activate this new transition and it’s a portal that occurs every year on the 8th day of August. Astrologically, whatever is going to stir you into taking action has already started my friend

“This 8|8 configuration gives to you the infinity portal escorting you past all pervious limitations. It is a number of going beyond what you know to be your normal boundaries. It is pure spiritual atomic energy, a pure power source. It is success, prosperity and abundance with the added flavor of universal blessings. It is finally remembering about your divine inheritance promised to you by the Creator. A Natural doorway remembering and initiating our dormant light codes. All that was hidden is seen, all that was seen is clear”.

If you’ve been feeling a little lost on your path (which is actually quite normal), then this astrological portal will help you find your way. Set an intention so that your path unfolds in a way that doesn’t overwhelm you or burden your nervous system.

Start getting in the habit of asking your angels and guides to help you transition while you sleep, not only so that you can wake up rejuvenated, but so that your vibration gets uplifted enough for you to be able to be of service to others.

A great intention for this month is to do anything that gets your heart pumping. Physically, this could be any kind of exercise such as swimming, running or yoga. Emotionally, it’s about focusing on what makes your heart skip a beat.

If you’re a fan of kundalini yoga, breath of fire is a beautiful way to keep warm, but if you’re after something a little more gentle, try the 4 |4 |4 |4 breath for at least 5 minutes every day.

This is where you inhale for 4, hold the breath for 4, exhale for a count of four and then retain the breath out for the last count of 4.

The number 8 relates to the concept of power – who or what makes you feel powerful? What needs to be cleared so that you no longer feel distracted? What needs to be eliminated so that you don’t give your power away in relationships that have moved away from your highest alignment?

In order to be able to host this kind of frequency in our subtle energy bodies, we must ensure that that our physical bodies, thoughts, emotions and energy channels are as clean and devoid of any heavy clogging as possible.

I would absolutely love to hold the space for you shift this.
